S02.E21: Past Due (1) - NCIS: Hawaii

August 2024 · 1 minute read

I don’t like this episode at all.

Charlie 1 is an interesting character who provides actions and comic reliefs. Plus, he always has Jane’s back and now we know their backstories, how they’re connected by their black ops’ past. But the show decides to eliminate this character for a shock value??! Hate this. UGH.

What’s the real reason for Jane to bring Kate to Caracas? So Kate can present copies of official disclosure requests from the US State Department to the bank officer? Why can’t these documents be transmitted to the bank electronically? The bank officer doesn’t even hesitate to disclose account info to Jane Padilla, no doc required.

For an ex-CIA and a badass NCIS Special Agent, Jane Tennant really cannot think straight when her emotions get the best of her. Kate and Charlie 1 get entangled in her web of messiness. Charlie 1 has to pay with his life for trying to protect her.

I wonder why Vanessa Lachey keeps making these weirds faces throughout this episode. Is that her only way to convey some emotions?
